What are we reading?

Fun Home (A Family Tragicomic) by Alison Bechdel

In this graphic memoir, Alison Bechdel explores her complex relationship with her late father.

Distant and exacting, Bruce Bechdel was an English teacher and director of the local funeral home—known to the family as the “Fun Home.” It is only in college, after Alison has come out as a lesbian, that she discovers her father was also gay. A short time after this revelation, he dies, leaving behind a legacy of questions she continues to unpack.
